This policy describes which cookies and similar techniques we use on brosi-interiors.com, what they are for and how long they are kept. For everything else we do with personal data, please see our privacy statement.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website places on your computer, tablet or phone. The same rules apply to similar techniques that store or read something on your device, such as local storage, session storage and tracking pixels. Where we write “cookies” below, we mean those techniques as well.
Our starting point
We place as little as possible. At present this site uses no tracking or marketing cookies, is not connected to advertising networks, and we do not share data with advertisers or social networks. Your visit is not routed through external parties.
What may end up on your device is strictly necessary to make a function work that you use yourself. It is listed in full below.

This site places nothing else on your device.
Visitor numbers — without cookies
We count how often our pages are viewed, so that we can see what works and what does not. To do so we place no cookie, and nothing is stored on or read from your device. No consent is therefore required for this.
For each page view we record a limited set of data:
- the time and the path of the page — without whatever follows a question mark or a hash;
- the page you came from, if there is one;
- country, region and town approximately;
- type of device, operating system and browser.
To keep one visit from being counted twice, a temporary marker is calculated from your request. That marker expires within a day. The figures themselves we keep for up to twelve months.
We build no profiles with this, we do not recognise you on other websites, and we do not use these figures to tailor advertising to you. We do not count on pages where you are working with your own data: your account, your basket, the checkout, your orders and signing in.
We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in a working, understandable website. You can object using the button below, or by e-mail at the address at the foot of this page. If your browser asks not to be tracked, we do not measure at all.
We engage a service provider for the counting. The processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. The usual safeguards apply to this, such as standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission and a valid adequacy framework.
What changes once our webshop opens
We are preparing a webshop. Once it goes live, we may advertise, and we may want to measure more than the figures above. From that moment on:
On your first visit you will be given a choice in which refusing is just as easy as accepting: one click, equally visible, nothing ticked in advance. Statistics and marketing stay off until you switch them on yourself, and you can always change your choice through this page. The shopping basket and signing in additionally require cookies that are needed to place an order. We will update this page with the full list and the retention periods — before anything is switched on.
Categories we will use
- Necessary — needed to make the site and the ordering functions work. No consent is required for these and they cannot be switched off.
- Statistics — to see which pages are used and where visitors get stuck, so that we can improve the site.
- Marketing — to measure the effectiveness of advertising and to make advertising more relevant.
These three concern techniques that place something on your device or read from it. Everything falling under statistics or marketing we only place after you have given your consent. The counting of visitor numbers above does not fall under this: nothing is placed on your device for it.
Managing your choice
As long as we use only necessary techniques, there is no choice for you to make and we deliberately do not show you a consent window. As soon as that changes, this is where you will find a button to change or withdraw your preferences at any time — just as easily as giving them.
Independently of that, you can view, block and delete cookies and stored data in your browser. You will usually find those settings under “Privacy” or “Content settings”. Clearing the storage does mean the chat can no longer show your earlier conversation.
